Irina Gorbman: “Art That Heals™” Arrives at Dartmouth-Hitchcock – July 1 to Sept. 25, 2025
Following my solo show in SoHo, I stopped for a quick recharge in the studio, then packed up my newest canvases and set my compass northward—to install “Art That Heals™” at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Williamson Building Gallery (4th Floor) on July 1st. Today I’m thrilled to share the full details of this immersive, metaphysical exhibition—and extend a personal invitation to art lovers, critics, museum directors, gallery owners, and the press. Please join me in person or schedule a virtual tour on Thursday, July 17th.
Exhibition Overview
Art That Heals™: The Metaphysical Realms of Irina Gorbman
Dates: July 1 – September 30, 2025
Venue: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Williamson Building Gallery (4th Floor)
1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756Gallery Hours: Open 24/7—an uncommon opportunity for patients, staff, and the community to encounter art at any hour.
In a region that treasures craft, nature, and introspection—from Vermont’s rolling Green Mountains to New Hampshire’s granite peaks—this body of work stakes a bold claim: painting can function as both lighthouse and lifeline.
My latest series, rendered on thirty-six-inch round canvases, layers oils with embedded semi-precious stones—amber, amethyst, malachite, turquoise—each chosen for its distinct healing vibration. The result is art that isn’t just pretty; it’s a symbolic battery for recharging.

About the Artist
Born in Moscow and now creating in Dover, MA, mechanical engineer-turned self-taught artist Irina Gorbman champions the Art That Heals™ movement, merging metaphysical theory with raw abstraction. Her work has lit up the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture in SoHo, the Architectural Digest Design Show, the Boston International Fine Art Show, and New York Fashion Week. Gorbman’s mission is unapologetically forward-thinking: create art that doesn’t just look amazing but actually heals. She paints blind, trusting each gesture to reveal its own story. Critics compare her visceral abstractions to the emotional intensity of Edvard Munch and the lyrical flow of Joan Mitchell.
