About Artist
I’m a self-taught intuitive artist, who evolved to be a pattern maker, designer of wallpapers, fabrics, wearable art athleisure, educator and philanthropist. I truly believe that we can be healed by pure colors of the Universe, whether we see them or wear them. This happens at the subconscious level.
I began to paint as a hobby. Previously, my formal education was in mechanical engineering and international relations. I am an outsider artist.
My paintings are meditative and metaphysical, made with pure colors of the Universe. The more you look, the more you see - mountains, rivers, people, animals that have not been intentionally painted. There is more than meets the eye. I go with a flow, my hand picks up colors intuitively without a preliminary color palette or sketches. This ease brings high vibe onto a canvas. I am open to commissioned work and collaborations with interior designers, galleries, and art licensing agents.
My art has been showcased at shows and collaborations including the Architectural Digest Designs Shows in New York City, Boston International Fine Art Shows, The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art museum shop in Chicago, Agora & Colm Rowan galleries in New York, and fundraising galas for RIA at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Boston Medical Center, and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
My paintings breathe multiple lives throughout designs and applications on fashionable and decorative products. Based on my artwork, I created collections of wallpapers and matching fabrics for exclusive interiors. Artistic products and pattern designs transmit the same uplifting vibe from the original art works. These high-impact visuals make a statement, elevate energy, and leave people feeling uplifted.
The fashion brand was launched - IG Moda by Irina Gorbman - which sells art athleisure leggings and tops to make women and men more confident. The uniqueness of IG Moda is the merger of fashion and spirituality. These designs were shown at the New York Fashion Week 2019, Boston Fashion Week, London Fashion Week 2023, and international digital fashion platforms. The media coverage includes Fashion Magazine NYC, Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine, and Boston Herald among others.

My art always comes first. It’s my ground, my home base, the most truthful representation of who I am.
Art is like air — it comes as effortlessly as breathing; design is an exercise and experiment that requires discipline and focus.
